Quick answer: Grindelwald works well for families. At First, there's the 700 m² (7,500 sq ft) Bort alpine playground and rides like the Trottibike (from 125 cm / 4 ft 1 in) or the Mountain Cart (from 135 cm / 4 ft 5 in). Männlichen has a playground with a 28-foot (8.5 m) wooden cow and a stroller-friendly gondola. Kids under 6 travel free, and kids 6–15 do too with the Swiss Family Card when a parent has a Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Half Fare Card (for visitors living outside Switzerland). Not valid on the Winter Hiking and Sledding Pass. Watch out for the operators' height and age limits.
